Members, your hockey club needs some help! Our banquet set up originally scheduled for 3 pm on Sunday Mar 26 has been moved to 6 pm (we can’t have access to the banquet hall until then). This works out great for D shifters after day shift, but any others are welcome to attend. Please spread the word. Refreshments and food nourishment will be provided after on the club’s tab

Info regarding the Gump Cup!

As you know, the season is wrapping up with 1 more regular season game and then the Gump Cup championship & banquet on Mar 27. Your hockey club executive is hard at work organizing the events. There is some important information we must distribute leading up to the Gump Cup day.

* Please contact your team manager regarding banquet attendance if you have not already done so.
* We need some volunteers to help set up the banquet hall on Sunday March 26 at 3:00 PM. Free food & refreshments will be provided.
* A charter bus will be running from the GPF to the Hose & Hydrant after the championship. Please note there is minimal hockey gear storage at the Hose, so please make arragements for your bag. Also, consumption of alcohol in front of the Hose is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!
* Return your jersey & socks to your team rep on the day of the Gump, or make arrangements beforehand if you will not be attending.
* NO FOOD is allowed in the dressing rooms, as per GPF’s policy. You can arrange to order food upstairs at Boomer’s pub after 9:00am on game day . A 16″ pizza special is your best bet.

Monday March 6th games are CANCELLED for the Fallen Firefighter’s memorial in Victoria, BC

Games scheduled for March 6 will be played on March 13th. (Note : Schedule originally shows games on Mar 6, cancelled on Mar 13)

King of the Rink 4 on 4

Please see attached poster for info regarding the annual VFDHC King of the Rink 4 vs 4 tourney.

IMPORTANT 4 on 4 Registration Instructions!! Please read carefully!

Some members are having issues transferring $$ to the hockey club account. If so please read these simple instructions for transferring money for 4 on 4 tourney:

1) Log into your VFF Credit union account here: https://www.vfcu-ibank.com/login.html
NOTE: You will need to contact the Crun staff to set up access (if you don’t have on-line access). Please email them at info@vanfirecu.com to set up access
2) Once you log in you’ll see menu options on the left hand side. Click on “Transfer Money”, then click “Between Accounts”
3) You’re now at the transfer page. Pick with one of your accounts you want the money transferred FROM. That would be your personal account
4) Next step is select “To Account”. Pick “VF Hockey Club 29090”
5 ) Enter amount, in this case $50
6) Go to far right of screen and click “Next”
7 ) Review the information before you, then click
Confirm”
8) If all goes well, you’ll get a confirmation #. Copy this number, and email to : vfdhcreg@gmail.com
